Apple’s been using Vag Rounded – the typeface originally deployed by Volkswagen in 1978 – on its keyboards since 1999, when it launched the original iBook. But it looks like those days are over. The new MacBook uses San Francisco, the same font you’ll find on the Apple Watch. The company originally said it had designed San Francisco “specifically for legibility on Apple Watch” but it looks like it’s rather more taken with its creation.
