The RIAA is pissed that vinyls earned more revenue than ad-supported streams in 2015
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has published its report (PDF) on the US music industry’s earnings from 2015. While there are positive figures in there like an overall growth in revenues by 0.9 percent to $7 billion, the agency is not happy about the dismal amounts brought in by streaming services. Streaming is now the most popular way for people in America to get their music.
