The Legend of Zelda is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and to kick things off two fans have made a 3D version of the original game with Java so anyone can play it for free in their browser. Called ‘The Legend of Zelda 30-Year Tribute,’ the creators used WebGL and voxels rendering to create a pixel-perfect replica of the original, all in Javascript. The game is still a work in progress and there are some bugs but it is playable on Web and mobile browsers, just without some of the game’s original dungeons for now.
