Samsung’s going to preinstall Microsoft Office on select Android tablets
Samsung and Microsoft settled their Android royalties lawsuit last month and now they’re really getting cozy. In the near future, you’ll find Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive and Skype preinstalled on “select Android tablets” from the South Korean manufacturer. The packages will start shipping in the first half of this year. The companies previously announced a deal to give Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge owners 100GB of additional free cloud storage for two years with OneDrive.
