Startup Dream Team’s bootcamp for young entrepreneurs heads to Europe
Way back in May last year, we brought you news on Startup Dream Team, a bootcamp from Paris-based student organization Silicon Students. It was seeking 45 budding entrepreneurs from around the world who were willing to join a nine-week summer program in Silicon Valley – that was its second edition, having initially launched back in 2012.
Today, Silicon Students has revealed that it’s taking Startup Dream Team to Europe for the first time, as it lands in London, Paris and Berlin too. This means it will take place in four cities this summer.
Startup Dream Team is aimed at 18-to-25 year-olds from around the world, with selected participants living in the same house for two months as they intern with various startups during the day. They also work on projects in the evenings and weekends, which are pitched to investors at the end. Indeed, given that candidates apply as individuals as opposed to ‘startups’, this program is considered a ‘pre-accelerator’.
