PlayStation 2 games are coming to the PS4

Sony says it’s working to bring games designed for its 16-year old console, the PlayStation 2, to the PS4. Wired reports that the company confirmed the move in a brief statement over email: We are working on utilizing PS2 emulation technology to bring PS2 games forward to the current generation. We have nothing further to comment at this point in time. In fact, a few PS2-era titles are already available and working on the PS4.
