Google will reportedly unveil Pixel phones, 4K Chromecast and more next month
We recently heard that Google was planning to drop the Nexus moniker for its Android-based hardware. It seems like there’s more to that than just a rebranding effort. According to Android Police, Google is gearing up to host an event on October 4, where it will announce several new products: Two smartphones – dubbed the Pixel and Pixel XL – a 4K-capable Chromecast dongle, and a Daydream VR viewer.
