TNW’s Apps of the Year: Giphy knows just what you’re trying to say
In our Apps of the Year series, The Next Web team shares personal recommendations for our favorite apps of 2015. As the English language continues its inevitable decline into a series of patterned grunts and not-so-subtle gestures, Giphy might just be the app that leads the charge. I don’t mind a bit. Sometimes it’s just easier to communicate in GIF format (or is it JIF?) rather than spewing the same tired canned phrases again and again. These days, if I can’t say it in an emoji or a TNW post, it’s probably best left unsaid, or at least said in fewer than 140 characters.…
