Robert De Niro’s firm sues employee for $6M for binging 55 eps of Friends at work
We need a new category for this sort of Netflix activity. Robert De Niro’s company has filed a $6 million lawsuit against a former employee who purportedly binged Netflix while on the clock, Variety reports. Canal Productions, the actor’s loan-out company, alleges that – in addition to binging – Chase Robinson also put exorbitant restaurant and hotel charges on the firm’s tab, and used lots of De Niro’s frequent flyer points for personal trips.
