Amazon Fire TV can now identify actors in the movies and shows you’re currently watching

Amazon today announced that its X-Ray search feature is coming to the Fire TV. X-Ray for movies and TV allows users to use their Fire TV or Fire TV stick remote to learn more about the actor(s) currently onscreen. By simply asking, “Who’s that actor/actress?” the software will identify the actors’ names and offers an option to learn more about their previous roles. You can also use X-Ray to identify the soundtrack of the show or movie you’re watching. This feature is limited to content on Amazon Instant Video, however, so you won’t be able to ask your Fire TV all your burning questions…
