Sonos is launching a public beta of the latest software for its wireless home speaker range, which promises to bring a slew of new features, and improved performance to its Playbar soundbar. The update to version 5.2 allows multiple users to log on and play music on Sonos speakers, freeing them from the restriction of single-user control. Finding the right song to play becomes easier too, thanks to improved search capabilities that can sort through all connected music sources, including users’ mobile devices.
