SnapDonate lets you give to charities just by taking photos of their logos
Slowly but surely, many parts of the world are going cashless, and the effects go beyond quicker checkouts at supermarkets. A new app developed in the UK lets users donate to charities whenever they feel inspired to do so, by simply pointing their phones at a charity’s logo — on a poster, flyer, billboard or anywhere else. Powered by global donation platform JustGiving, SnapDonate enables payments via PayPal or credit card, and allows users to donate as much as they like, with a minimum of £2 ($3.2) per transaction.
