At Apple’s iPhone 7 keynote today, Niantic CEO John Hanke announced that the company’s popular AR game Pokémon Go is coming to the Apple Watch. The app will allow players to engage with the location-based game without having to open the app on their phone to detect nearby Pokémon, gyms and other locations. It’ll notifiy wearers when they’re close to a Pokémon, and also display walking and running stats like distance and calories burned.
