Magic Leap showed off a clip demonstrating the capabilities of its augmented reality technology at the WSJD Live conference today, and it’s brilliant. The Google-funded company claims the demo was shot directly through its headset without special effects. You can see a little floating robot as well as a model solar system hovering in the air in an office space. When it launches, Magic Leap’s AR headset will go head-to-head against Microsoft’s HoloLens, which is slated for a 2020 public release.
