Charles Rangel and his ethics violations" Congressman Charles Rangel (D-NY) for not less than 6 major ethics violations related to his personal and public financial interests. Oh, how the mighty fall. One of the charges he's accused of is having four primary residences on his name although the law in New York states he may only claim one. Well naturally a man with such a wide waist has to have multiple primary residences. where else can he stash all that corrupt cash? Another charge involves him granting tax shelter status to an oil company which donated money to one of his public groups. That's slick, Rangel. Investigators must have been pretty smart to find illegal tax shelters obfuscated by a congressman in charge of the Ways and Means Committee -- and who campaigned to end the corruption in Congress. After all, the Ways and Means of the law so often do not apply to those who legislate. Is it just me or is it starting to smell a little too much like former Ways & Means Committee Chairman, Congressman Dan Rostenkowski (D-IL) in here?
