Medium has today added a neat feature to help you keep up with the topics you’re interested in. Instead of just following specific users, you can now follow tags too. There’s a new follow button on the top right of dedicated pages for tags. Click on it, and you’ll see stories related to that tag show up on your homepage, while also seeing the topic added to a list of followed tags on your homepage. The companies have a combined global distribution in over 10,000 stores in 40 countries and will be in a better position to give dominant competitor GoPro a run for its money. Given that the Amazon Echo voice-controlled assistant is made by, well, Amazon, it’s not too much of a stretch to assume you’d be able to use it to do some shopping, but so far that has not been possible. A firmware update pushed out today changes that by helping you reorder items you’ve previously purchased according to SlashGear.
