"BP oil spill joke"
Two buddies are out the Gulf of Mexico, skimming up the muck from the BP oil spill.
One just got a job as a BP safety officer and they were celebrating with this outing.
After a couple of days of constant skimming, without a moment's rest, one friend opens his cooler, pulls out a beer, opens it, and drinks it. Then he drinks another, and
another, and so on, until he is quite drunk.
All the while, more and more oil is being sucked up into the skimmer, and in his drunken state, he forgets various key steps in the skimming process, and soon the skimming
tank is full of spilled oil and water, and it's starting to overflow back into the Gulf waters.
His buddy, the newly minted BP safety officer says "Hey watch it! You're gonna make a mess and get us stranded out here with no way to get back! And if we don't filter the
water back out, this boat's gonna sink and we're gonna have to swim back to shore through all of this crude oil."
His friend pulls out anther beer, opens it and hands it to his BP safety officer friend and says, "Are you gonna drink or skim?"
